More Than A Gap Year.

Freshwave Movement’s primary mission is to empower churches, communities and believers. An exciting initiative within Freshwave Movement is Freshwave Academy, launched at the beginning of 2024. This 12-month media and ministry training program, based in South Africa, aims to prepare students for both ministry and business. Our comprehensive curriculum includes daily lectures as well as practical handles on Spiritual Development, Skills Development, Personal Development, Leadership Development & Team Development.

We have a passion for the nations, which is why our students participate in both local and international mission trips. These trips provide opportunities to minister in various churches and communities, reinforcing our commitment to spreading the Gospel worldwide. Our leadership team is deeply involved with the local church, being part of EchoPoint Church, George, Western Cape, where we actively serve. Another exciting aspect of Freshwave Movement is our Worship Nights, Weekly Prayer meeting, Weekly Fresh Groups and upcoming launch of our Church Planting School & Worship School. These gatherings are dedicated to worshiping Jesus and making Him known, reflecting our core mission of glorifying God in all we do. This is a great space for our students to serve, and to be equipped for further ministry.
